Like many health bloggers, I am slightly obsessed with my oats for breakfast. They provide lasting energy to keep my going through the morning. I thought I would share a few of my favorite creations with you.
I cook all of my oats using the same basic method:
- 1/3 cup oats (I like Scottish Oats)
- 1 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 melted banana
- 1/4 tsp salt
Combine all in a small pot, cover, and over medium high heat until done. Once boiling, it takes about 5-7 minutes, depending on how chewy you like your oats.
